2020 – The Beginning

I started the Starch Solution with no expectations—just a quiet commitment to take it one meal, one day at a time.

I didn’t know exactly where it would lead, but I knew something had to change.

2021 – Year 1: 30 Pounds Lost

After a full year of showing up consistently and learning how to fuel my body with simple, whole plant foods, I released 30 pounds. It wasn’t fast—but it was real, sustainable, and empowering.

2022 – Steady Progress + The 50/50 Dish Is Born

I kept going, even on the hard days. That year, I lost 5 more pounds—proof that small, steady changes lead to real transformation.

While navigating a plateau, I created the 50/50 dish —half starch, half non-starchy vegetables.
 It changed everything. Simple, satisfying, and sustainable.

2023 – Investing in Support

I reached a turning point. I hired a health coach, started daily walks wearing a weighted vest, and reconnected with my goals. With new energy and mindset, I released another 18 pounds and shared the entire journey through a full YouTube series.

Total of 50 pounds down. Eat simple. Move daily. Be consistent. That’s the magic.

2024 – Momentum & Milestones

Not through perfection—but by showing up for myself, again and again.

This year, I fully embraced what Dr. John McDougall teaches: letting your body settle into its natural, healthy weight.

I found true food freedom. And today, I’ve released 50+ pounds and gained so much more than I ever expected.

2025 – A 5-Year Celebration

Five years of living the Starch Solution lifestyle—and I’m still learning, growing, and evolving. I’ve been exploring holistic healthgentle biohacking, and creating sustainable rhythms that support my highest self. This year, I launched Her Way, my 12-week signature program to help other women on their Mindset, Meals, and Movement.

What I’ve Learned Along the Way:

  • You must take action—and want more for yourself
  • Keep food simple. Fuel the body well.
  • Daily movement matters—walking changed everything.
  • You deserve to feel good in your body.
  • When you get uncomfortable, that’s when change happens.
  • Consistency creates change.
  • Take it one meal and one step at a time.
